OMG you guys—so, I’m getting caught up on The Bachelorette for tonight’s FINALE!!! and just needed to report back on some important findings from the “Men Tell All” episode that aired last Monday! So like, color me shocked-as-fuck—my jaw is literally hanging open; YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS: I learned on “The Men Tell All” that Kaitlyn had the extremely rare and shocking experience of being a female public figure who was slut-shamed and harassed on the internet! She even received death threats! When Chris Harrison revealed that nearly-unbelievable news on Monday’s episode, he also gave us the illuminating treat of reading aloud from the most offensive tweets Kaitlyn received. It’s hard to believe it, but these tweets included super-sexist, violent language! Some of them even called her a “whore” and a “slut,” and told her to “close her legs”! Thank God the Bachelor franchise did us the service of reading these tweets aloud to raise public awareness of this exceptional, one-of-a-kind anomaly of online abuse targeted at women! OMG! As the camera panned around the audience, we saw ladies’ jaws hanging open, ‘cause they were utterly stunned! And who can blame them—this kind of thing doesn’t happen every day. Some things are just so out-of-this-world bizarre that there’s no explanation for them—some people are just cray-cray and have waaaaay too much time on their hands! #weirdnews! Nothing more to really say about it! All you can really do is shrug your shoulders and just read a bunch of sexist tweets aloud to a studio audience, with no further comment or dialogue about what they might say about the social circumstances of the culture they took place in! Thanks to our friends at the Bach for revealing this truly shocking story!
