About

We wanted a website where we could go to find thoughtful writing and art that links feminism to literature and to pop culture. An online community that makes us laugh, and maybe cry, and always think a lot. One that’s at home in the mall and in the library. That resonates with our lives as writers and artists and activists and teachers and curators and moonlighters. As professional BFFs and 90s nostalgists and reality TV watchers and letter writers and record collectors and cat ladies and manic panickers and daydream believers. A website that speaks its mind and snaps its gum and doesn’t apologize. Welcome to WEIRD SISTER.
